Sharp has introduced four new models of HDTV with LED backlight: the LC-52LE700UN by 52 inches, the LC-46LE700UN by 46 inches, the LC-40LE700UN 40-inch and LC-32LE700UN by 32 inches. Also announced were two other models, from 60 and 65-inch: the LC-60E77UN and LC-65E77UM.

All LE700 Series models are equipped with LED technology, the new X-Gen Panel, which should allow good quality of vision and depth of the blacks; UltraBrilliant LED technology instead should ensure brightness and contrast levels are extremely high, also Fine Motion Enhanced technology assures a response time of 4 ms.

LE700 Series models are Full HD 1080p resolution, their 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast is equal to the angle of vision is 176 degrees. All 4 will be available starting this month: $ 2,799.99 (about 2000 euros) for 52-inch, $ 2,199.99 (about 1500 euros) for 46-inch, $1,699.99 (about 1200 euros) for the 40-inch and $ 1,099.99 (approximately 780 euros) for 32 inches.

The models of the E77 series are also Full HD 1080p resolution and have the Fine Motion Enhanced technology, with a response time of 4 ms; they also use the Advanced Super View (ASV) Panel Superlucent for bright and dynamic, without reflections. The Spectral Contrast Engine XD instead ensures excellent contrast and colors very much alive.

The technology Optical Picture Control (OPC) is instead able to set your TV brightness automatically according to the environment in which it is located, while the technology Brightness Preservation allows considerable energy savings.

E77 series models will be available in September for $4,499.99 (approximately 3,200 euros) for 65-inch and $ 3,499.99 (about 2500 euros) to 60 inches.
