Sky are inviting their existing Sky+ HD customers to host their own Sky+ HD party!

By sharing the Sky HD experience with their friends, the hosts will be given a complimentary Sky Box Office movie and a £10 M&S voucher.

It seems as if Sky have taken note of the Windows 7 Party campaign that Microsoft has shown, and wants to do the same with their HD product.

Hosts will be given a choice of three high definition movies from Sky Box Office HD worth £3.91. Selecting from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Angels & Demons or The Hangover, which are all showing exclusively from 11th – 13th December. All three movies are also released on DVD / Blu-ray the same week, giving party members a change to see the movie for free in HD.

If you’re a Sky+ HD customer like myself, you can set up your own party at http://sky.com/hdparty/, and invite three or more friends, who must accept their invitations by 5pm 17th November.

You will then receive your complimentary Sky Box Office movie and £10 M&S voucher.

If you have a nice HD setup, and want to show off the HD quality to your friends, this seems like the perfect excuse! Just make sure you have it connected up properly!

This is very fresh news, and Sky won’t be officially announcing it until this Sunday!
