The Sharp LC-40LE600E is a new model which has recently arrived in the UK. It’s the 40-inch middle sized model of three from the Sharp Aquos LE600E series.

The 40-inch Sharp LC-40LE600E stands out from the vast array of LCD HDTVs currently on the market because of it’s true LED back lights and price. The LC-40LE600E uses direct LED backlighting, using an array of LEDs rather than LED side lighting, which can provides even better image contrasts. But unlike other HDTVS with direct LED backlighting, the Sharp LC-40LE600E is very well priced.

Direct LED backlighting it reserved for the very top of the line / flagship models from other manufacturers, which often cost much more than this model. Therefore, this expensive UN46B850 handily outperforms its brothers and, yes, every other LCD-based display that we’ve ever tested before. It still can’t match the best plasma, the legendary and discontinued Pioneer Kuro, and its off-angle image leaves so much to be desired. However, people who claim the sweet spot in front of a Samsung UNB8500 will be served to the most impressive flat-panel picture quality of year 2009.

Toshiba REGZA 47ZV650U LCD HDTV takes its Series to the next level with 2009 ZV650 1080p lineup, which present a series of technological advances in audio and video to maximize your home theater experience. Fans of sports, video games and fast paced action movies was impressed by the rate of 240 ClearScan technology framework, which greatly improves on the previous 120 Hz LCD panels for the movement of liquid natural.

I bought this 47ZV650U from Amazon last week. Shipping was fast, less than a week (including weekends). The TV was well packed, but the shame of Toshiba for not doing one of those boxes in which substantially raise the top of the window on the TV and sitting on the lower base of the window for easy removal.

The Toshiba 47ZV650U itself is amazing to see. I actually went to Best Buy and check out before you order, and he was sitting among a lot of Sony and Samsung, and I actually thought the photo looked better than these two brands. Despite its difficult to say in these retail stores since they are generally paid a heavy price for connecting your TV to a Blu-Ray and the cheapest cable TV or cheaper to source I can find.

So far I’ve used my Xbox 360, Blu-Ray, my Wii and digital cable on this TV and so far everything looks impressive.

The only conncern on this Toshiba 47ZV650U is the size. It is about 47 inch, but the frame is large almost 52 inches when measured horizontally.

Sharp has introduced four new models of HDTV with LED backlight: the LC-52LE700UN by 52 inches, the LC-46LE700UN by 46 inches, the LC-40LE700UN 40-inch and LC-32LE700UN by 32 inches. Also announced were two other models, from 60 and 65-inch: the LC-60E77UN and LC-65E77UM.

All LE700 Series models are equipped with LED technology, the new X-Gen Panel, which should allow good quality of vision and depth of the blacks; UltraBrilliant LED technology instead should ensure brightness and contrast levels are extremely high, also Fine Motion Enhanced technology assures a response time of 4 ms.

LE700 Series models are Full HD 1080p resolution, their 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast is equal to the angle of vision is 176 degrees. Great picture performance, advanced connectivity, and an eco-friendly and stunning design are the features form Samsung UN46B8000. For the image connoisseur, the highest 240Hz motion blur reduction technology, a 5,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio that displays significantly deep blacks and pristine whites, and enriched color processing deliver outstanding video.

I really love Samsung UN46B8000. It is extremely thin, and the color is extremely bright. I haven’t noticed a lot of flash lighting, the triple ball effect or other problems that have with more Standard Set LCD. If one leaves the factory settings for picture quality, you should leave it be. Do not use the thin wall mount, if you have one. It’s magnetic and have some problems with the set.

I was able to use to get a steal in the price of a sale, and had to jump on them. If you have money to burn, is a big crowd. There are some standard set of the 9-series LCD from Samsung, which are great.

Be aware that there is no real LED set out there. This is one side to be illuminated. This means that there are some LED lights offer the edges of the screen backlight on the LCD. The next series, 9000, will feature local dimming LEDs, which are distributed in areas throughout the series. Not a real LED, but closer, but .. More than likely .. You pay the price.

If you are looking for an LED Edge-Series LCD, and you’re happy w / 46in, jump in for Samsung UN46B8000. Otherwise, wait for a while until new technology or may be until prices fall.
